About Tanjil South PS

Welcome to Tanjil South Primary School – Where Your Child’s Journey to Success Begins

At Tanjil South Primary School, we understand that choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. That’s why we’re committed to providing a nurturing, family-like environment where every child is valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their best.

With our small class sizes, your child will benefit from personalized attention and a curriculum that adapts to their unique learning needs. Our dedicated and experienced teachers ensure that each student receives the support they need to thrive, both academically and socially. We take pride in fostering a close-knit community where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.

Our core values—Community, Achievement, Respect, and Empathy—are woven into everything we do, ensuring that your child not only excels in their studies but also grows into a well-rounded individual with strong character and a sense of belonging. We’re also fully committed to child safety, giving you peace of mind that your child is learning in a secure and caring environment.

At TSPS, we believe education is not just a partnership—it’s an extension of the family. We work hand-in-hand with parents and the wider community to create a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels connected. From School Council and classroom involvement to excursions and social gatherings, we offer plenty of ways for families to be part of the learning journey. Together, we build a school experience that feels like home—a place where your child can grow, form lifelong friendships, and develop a genuine love of learning in a caring, supportive atmosphere.

Explore the difference a small school setting can make. At TSPS, your child’s individual strengths are recognized, celebrated, and nurtured every day.

At Tanjil South Primary School, we respect the elders and communities who have lived on this land for generations. The Gunaikurnai people are the traditional owners of the land where we learn, and we are grateful for their courage, strength, integrity, and values.

We CARE when we give our acknowledgement of country. Just like Yeerung the superb wren and Djeetgun the emu wren,  we make small contributions to the land and make important connections to its people.
