Timeless Teachings in a Changing World

Tanjil South Primary School follows the curriculum as designated by the Victorian version of AusVels called the Victorian Curriculum F-10 where the Prep year is referred to as  “Foundation” Level.  Information about this can be found here:  http://victoriancurriculum.vcaa.vic.edu.au/

The school also provides several extra-curricular activities each year such as excursions, incursions, sports competition and coaching days, whole school camps, senior grade sleepovers, graduation activities, and activities utilising local resources like the snow and proximity to the surf coast.  We currently offer a LOTE program to our students.

The learning environment is structured to challenge our students across the whole curriculum and aim to prepare each individual for their bright future ahead.

At Tanjil South Primary School, we respect the elders and communities who have lived on this land for generations. The Gunaikurnai people are the traditional owners of the land where we learn, and we are grateful for their courage, strength, integrity, and values.

We CARE when we give our acknowledgement of country. Just like Yeerung the superb wren and Djeetgun the emu wren,  we make small contributions to the land and make important connections to its people.
